A run of cloudy days. My mother, a New Yorker born and bred, who never lived anywhere else until she moved to Vermont for the last year and a half of her life used to look up at the sky and say “Look at those clouds! The skies are so beautiful here in Vermont”. She said that almost every day she lived here. And I agree.





Yes, Liz, I thought of you when I posted this.
Yes, she was so able to appreciate the moment. It was good for me to be around too, even as I was navigating how best to take care of her.
As you well know, I love clouds- thank you!
I remember your mother gazing up and exclaiming. It was good to be around that. It’s also wonderful to see these gazes, framed, and held for viewing.
