Amazing what a clean set of sheets and pillowcases can do for one’s spirits.
Puts me in mind of the poem I usually sign on erev (the first night of) Yom Kippur:
My God, Holy One, My Creator,
Purify me in Your light.
I lie in a cloud before You.
Rock me to sleep in the night.

Oh, I love this poem, I’m going to print it out. Also I agree about putting clean sheets and duvet cover on the bed…so pleasant.
